Pain sucks and the body is complicated

Let us, as biomechanical experts, help you find a solution for your issue.  Pain is your body trying to communicate with you. Once you understand the language behind the pain, you can take control of it - let us be your translator.  Your knee shouldn’t hurt when you run, you shouldn’t pee your pants with your laugh, your back doesn’t need to hurt after every round of golf, and a workers' compensation injury doesn’t have to be a frustrating experience.

Our Vision

How do you create a private practice that:

  • Takes all insurances as in-network

  • Works with the best healthcare providers in the city

  • Provides exceptional care

  • Builds a community

  • Rewards and empowers their staff for their hard work through revenue sharing?

Let us tell you…

Our Story

Nate and Kevin are both Milwaukee natives whose paths first crossed nearly a decade ago while working within a local hospital system.

From the start, it was clear they shared a common goal: to address the challenges they saw in how physical therapy was delivered within large healthcare environments. Over the next five years, they worked together in private practice under a corporate model—an experience that solved some problems, but ultimately reinforced their desire to build something of their own.

After countless hours on the phone and sleepless nights creating business plans and analyzing the options, Nate and Kevin made the jump to go fully private and open both locations of Aretas Physical Therapy in May of 2023.

Today, Aretas reflects exactly what they set out to create: a place where physical therapists love to work, patients feel motivated and supported, and the environment itself plays a role in healing. Their goal is simple—to provide exceptional care, build genuine community, and create an experience patients are excited to recommend.

Our Goal

to make the entire process with Aretas seamless

When you call to schedule an appointment, you will speak with someone who is actively working in the clinic, and if there are any scheduling issues, we resolve them immediately. No more time on the phone with a call center who doesn’t even know the providers. When you come in for your evaluation - you can expect to walk away with reassurance that you found your solution.  The therapist will review their movement findings and build a program that fits your needs and goals.  If we don’t have a solution or if we aren’t the right solution, we will use our network of top providers to get you pointed in the right direction.  We’ll take the guesswork out of your health.  We also understand that mistakes happen and issues do and will arise - rest assured that when that happens, our #1 goal is to learn, own and grow from our mistakes.

Great facility, and a great staff - I went into therapy tentatively, in pain, and unsure of what to expect. In a short time, I started looking forward to all of my appointments. The results came, and I had fun doing it, thanks to a great team. I'd recommend Aretas to anyone needing PT!
